Production & Construction
Cabinets can be ordered RTA (ready-to-assemble) or assembled. For convenience, stock cabinets are produced in standard sizes.
Width: Cabinets start at a width of 9” and increase by 3” increments to 48” inches.
Depth: Wall cabinets have a standard depth of 12” while base cabinets have a standard depth of 24”.
Height: Wall cabinets increase in 3” increments from 12” to 42”, but sometimes do not include heights of 21” and 27”. All base cabinets are 34 ¼” high.
In order to make up for any space left between cabinets and appliances, adjustable fillers are used. Fillers come in 3” and 6”, and can be cut to the size of the space needed to be filled.
Wood Types: When ordering stock cabinets, there are several wood types to choose from. Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, Maple, and Oak are most common.
Finishes: Various stains ranging from light to dark are available.
